Regional Respiratory Services Manager- BC Interior and North Central BC (Kelowna)
MedPro Respiratory Care is currently looking for a regional manager to lead and manage clinical service delivery in our BC Interior and North Central BC locations. Based in Kelowna and working as a member of the British Columbia management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for clinical service delivery in the region including implementation and monitoring patient care programs in our 8 BC Interior locations. This includes developing a culture through direct leadership that supports organizational vision and values and promotes professional practice to achieve positive patient outcomes.

The Role
Reporting to the President, the Regional Respiratory Service Manager will;
Be based in Kelowna (and/or Kamloops) and be an integral member of our BC leadership team
Be responsible for the daily clinical service delivery including MedPro Sleep and Home oxygen programs throughout the BC Interior and North overseeing 8 locations and 15-20 staff.
Develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to plan, implement and monitor patient care operations to ensure appropriate outcomes.
Manage all aspects of clinical staff relations including recruitment and retention, training, and performance management.
In conjunction with senior leadership develop budgets, monitor performance and take corrective action to achieve financial and non-financial performance objectives.
Establish regional clinical priorities in partnership with senior executive team and external stakeholders to ensure quality programs and outcomes.
Ensure appropriate resources are available for staff to meet clinical operational needs.
Represent the organization, and our clinical service programs, in hospitals and the community building strong relationships with external stakeholders including the medical and respiratory therapy communities.
The Requirements
Graduated from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
Minimum 3 years experience in a respiratory leadership role or healthcare management
Bachelor degree, preferably in health related discipline
Demonstrated program development and implementation ability
Proven ability to build and lead strong teams
Strong desire to promote professional clinical practice
Proven ability to build a positive energetic work environment that promotes individual initiative and professional clinical practice.
Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor staff
Eligible for membership with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists or equivalent professional association.
Demonstrated commitment to continued professional development
