The Respiratory Therapist adheres to CSRT standards and practices within a client and family-centered care model. They provide respiratory care independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team for various cardio-respiratory conditions. They enhance the quality of life for clients and families, collaborate with other health professionals, and continuously improve their practice. They also maintain clinical competence and participate in committees, teams, and research projects.

Qualifications:

Graduate from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program
Certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT)
Eligible for registration with BCSRT and CSRT
Valid BC Driver’s License (as required)
