CSRT Knowledge Mobilization Fund Application

Applications for funding may be submitted by Registered, Associate, Graduate and Student CSRT members. Eligible expenses are limited to activities that occurred between July 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025 and may not exceed $750. An individual may submit one application per funding period. If the application for funding is approved, proof of expense must be provided prior to the disbursement of funds.

Eligible expenses must relate to activities that disseminate, transfer, translate, and/or exchange knowledge that contributes to the advancement of evidence-based respiratory therapy practice. This may include but is not limited to:

• Travel costs associated with presenting at professional conferences (e.g., transportation and accommodation)

• Registration fees for conferences where the applicant is a presenter

• Preparation, design, or printing of conference presentation materials (e.g., posters, slide decks, handouts)

• Costs related to the participation of knowledge users in events (e.g., hosting a symposium or panel, stakeholder meeting logistics)

• Development of knowledge mobilization products (e.g., tool kits, infographics, digital learning modules, videos, or databases)

• Costs associated with translating materials to increase accessibility (e.g., language translation, plain language summaries)

Professional fees and materials for teaching purposes are not eligible expenses, nor are knowledge mobilization activities approved for a CSRT Research Grant and/or CSRT Annual Conference speaker funding.

As a condition of this funding, recipients must acknowledge the CSRT as the funding source in all activities in which the results relative to the activity funded are publicly displayed (e.g., conference presentations, abstracts, posters, publications).

Applications will be evaluated following the application deadline (October 10, 2025), at which time the CSRT will follow up with the successful applicants.
